What I Ate Wednesday #2

Happy Hump Day loves!  I’m back for my second What I Ate Wednesday link up, hosted by Jenn at Peas and Crayons.  I had a ton of fun with last week’s WIAW that I knew I had to do it again.  It’s always great meeting new bloggers, and link ups are the perfect way to do so!  I can tell you right now though, WIAW posts are going to really make me realize how repetitive my meals are.  Oh well, when it works it works!

 

photo 1 (30)I’ve been hooked on Grady’s cold brew recently.  It’s great for me to take on the train for my commute, and saves me time rather than going to Starbucks.  I mix it with water or almond milk.  With almond milk it almost taste like a latte!photo 3 (28)Once I got to work I heated up some blueberries and almond butter.  I tried it for a little bit longer this week because I saw that Tina from Carrots n Cake nukes it for 45 seconds.  It was still good but a little to liquid-y for me.  I think I’ll stick to 15 seconds. How To Make The Most Out Of Your Commute

Happy Friday people! I hope everyone had a great week.

So I’d be lying if I were to say life’s been easy lately. Not to say I’m not grateful for everything in my life right now. I moved into a beautiful new house that still doesn’t seem real sometimes and I completed my yoga teacher training! With the move came a longer commute though and what seems like hardly any free time.

Between trying to find time to practice yoga, teach yoga, and keep up with blogging I knew I’d have to maximize any free time I have. That means my 40 minute train rides and hour and a half drives now have become time to get sh*t done! Continue reading

What I Ate Wednesday #1

Hi Friends!  Happy hump day!  Since joining the blog-o-sphere back in August of 2013, I’ve always enjoyed reading Jenn’s WIAW link up posts.  Jenn is the awesome blogger behind Peas and Crayons and brings tons of food bloggers together every Wednesday to share what they have been putting in their mouths. I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to join, but here is my first What I Ate Wednesday! photo 1 (27)

For breakfast I grabbed a grande iced coffee from Starbucks.  I’ve been drinking it black lately, but today I added some Almond Milk that my work so kindly has in the fridge.  I brought in fresh blueberries that I got over the weekend and drizzled them with some of my homemade maple almond butter.  I threw it in the microwave for about 15 seconds…more like dessert if you ask me! photo 3 (27) Continue reading
