Up Close & Personal at The Justin Timberlake Concert

Happy Tuesday!  You made it through Monday, yay!  I’m still flying high from my weekend over here.  Friday night I went to Mohegan Sun for the Justin Timberlake concert.  My sister gets a lot of “party” perks through her company and had told me to keep this weekend open “just in case” she got tickets.

Well, the week before rolled around and I got the call!  She had two tickets to the show along with VIP passes that got us a pre-concert tour and party!  Let me tell you, the night was awesome!  I got up close & personal (not really but I wish) to Justin Timberlake.  I sort of felt like a teenage girl…but hey we all have the one celebrity crush right?!

Five Things Friday #2

Happy Friday friends! I’m in an especially great mood today. I guess I always am on Fridays but also I am going to the Justin Timberlake concert tonight!  Ahh!  My sister got tickets through work and we even have access to a VIP pre-party.  I kind of feel like a teenage girl with how giddy I am.

Anyways, sticking with the link-ups this week let’s kick off the weekend with a little Five Things Friday hosted by Clare at Fitting It All In.

Five pictures from my run last night.

Since moving I have been running down by the beach which is only a few miles from our house. It’s absolutely beautiful around sunset people probably think I’m crazy because they stop every two minutes to take a picture. Wouldn’t you too? Continue reading

What I Ate Wednesday #2

Happy Hump Day loves!  I’m back for my second What I Ate Wednesday link up, hosted by Jenn at Peas and Crayons.  I had a ton of fun with last week’s WIAW that I knew I had to do it again.  It’s always great meeting new bloggers, and link ups are the perfect way to do so!  I can tell you right now though, WIAW posts are going to really make me realize how repetitive my meals are.  Oh well, when it works it works!

photo 1 (30)I’ve been hooked on Grady’s cold brew recently.  It’s great for me to take on the train for my commute, and saves me time rather than going to Starbucks.  I mix it with water or almond milk.  With almond milk it almost taste like a latte!photo 3 (28)Once I got to work I heated up some blueberries and almond butter.  I tried it for a little bit longer this week because I saw that Tina from Carrots n Cake nukes it for 45 seconds.  It was still good but a little to liquid-y for me.  I think I’ll stick to 15 seconds.
